Only in your mind

Search the feeling and emotions

Only you know where to find

 

The musings of your heart

I won‘t let you down

Always at your summons

Just look and I am found

 

Search the deep recesses

Of your wandering dreams

Give them voice and spirit

Only you know what it means

 

I’m the one and only

It’s me you’ve been chasing

The muse you call poetry

The fancy you’re now facing

 

I call out to you

Sometimes in the night

I seek my daily freedom

Released only when you write

 

Come to me now lover

Let us join again

Relinquish grand ideas

And set them to the pen
